Parent Questions

Answers Before Your First Visit

The questions our front desk hears most from new wrestling families. Still unsure? Call the academy and a coach will talk it through.

My child has never wrestled. Is that a problem?

Most of our youth wrestlers start with no experience. Beginners learn stance, motion, and how to fall safely before any live wrestling, then drill with partners at the same level.

What age can my athlete start?

Explorers welcomes wrestlers ages 5–9. Pioneers serves ages 10–14, and High School is the advanced pathway for ages 15 and up.

What should we bring to the first practice?

Athletic clothes without zippers or pockets, a water bottle, and clean socks. The academy can guide you on wrestling shoes and headgear after the trial.

How much does training cost?

Explorers starts at $79 per month. Two-session and three-session options for Pioneers and High School start at $139 per month. Compare every option on the pricing page.

Do you require a USA Wrestling card?

A current card is required for athletes who compete. The academy team will explain when it is needed and help families stay current.

Can siblings train at the same time?

Each wrestler trains with the program that matches their age and development. Contact the academy and we will help your family compare the weekly schedule.
